Gone are the days when you have to buy several workout videos to get variety in your workouts. Say goodbye to workout video clutter and hello to a better body.

Fitness video apps are a cost effective way to exercise at home or on the go. Many of these apps are free or very low cost. They are definitely cheaper than buying exercise DVDs. When you use the fitness apps that have video, you can workout anywhere as long as you have your mobile device and enough space. Get over the feeling that you might look funny exercising at places such as work or a waiting room. You may think that people are looking at you and feel embarrassed. If you do your workout no matter where you have time to do it, soon people will be looking at you because you look amazing.

Most people's first excuse to not getting the proper amount of exercise is a lack of time. With fitness video apps you can take five minutes here and there to do a couple of strength exercises. Any exercise is better than none.

Because I personally use the Instant Fitness series of apps, I am going to explain how to get the most out of them.

You can download each instant fitness app separately for free-Instant arms, Instant legs, Instant abs, Instant back, Instant chest, Instant shoulders, and Instant butt. It is a wonderful feature that you can actually download the apps because you don't need to have Wifi or use Data to use them.

I will explain Instant Abs as an example of what to expect from one of the Instant Fitness apps. It has 26 bodyweight-meaning no equipment required-individual ab exercises. This means that there is no excuse not to exercise. All you need is enough room to comfortably lay down and you can do a full ab workout. Each exercise has a video with demonstration. Also you can look at each position of the exercise.

Another great thing about using video apps is you can see how to do the exercises properly. Trying to go alone without demonstration you are more likely to not do the exercise correctly.

One feature that is wonderful about the individual exercises is you can listen to our own music or some other audio on your mobile device without having to compete with the sound of the video. It is nice to be able to create your own workout sometimes.

Back to Instant Fitness Abs there are also 10 bodyweight Ab workouts. Instant fitness apps has the best of both worlds because you can find a lot of individual exercises and if you want you are able to just do one of their workouts. One of the nice features of the workouts is that you can look at the exercises individually. For example if you have an injury you look at the exercises and see if any of them will aggravate it. There many more exercises that require some equipment including benches, weights and resistance bands. All of the Instant fitness apps have the same features.

Using exercise apps are one of the most convenient ways to exercise. No more excuses for not getting the exercise your body needs. Grab your mobile device and get going!

I use an App for yoga. It's not something I'd have tried so readily if not for the App. It's totally changed my health and I wouldn't look back.

Great for relaxing and meditation too. It's on iOS and it's by Gaiam. Check it out. You can download all the classes and take them anywhere. I use it for warming up before a workout, for getting more flexible and meditation. I had a really bad back before I started using it. Had been on lots of different types of pain meds and now my back is sorted. 6 months of yoga sorted what 3 years of doctors couldn't.
